About The National Director
Azra Mahmood, National Director, Miss World Bangladesh
Azra Mahmood is the National Director and official license holder of Miss World Bangladesh, responsible for the national selection process and Bangladesh's representation on the global Miss World stage. Under her direction, Bangladesh's 2025 representative competed at the 72nd Miss World in Hyderabad, India — marking a new chapter for the country's presence in international pageantry. ● Current Profession: Research assistant at North South University.
● Beauty With a Purpose Project: Hygiene For Health Bangladesh. Hygiene for Health Bangladesh promotes hygiene education and healthy habits to prevent disease and improve public health. The initiative empowers communities through awareness, education, and sustainable hygiene practices.
● Story: My journey to becoming Miss World Bangladesh 2026 has been one of hard work and staying true to my purpose. Throughout the competition, I focused on representing my true beauty through my intelligence, compassion, and a sense of responsibility towards my community. Winning this title is an incredible honor and a responsibility that inspires me to create a positive impact.
● Future Plans: My future plan is to represent Bangladesh proudly at Miss World, continue expanding my national advocacy campaign, Hygiene for Health Bangladesh, pursue higher studies in science, and dedicate my career to improving public health through research and community service.

Aklima Atika Konika

● Current Profession: Fashion Model, TV Host & Musician
● Beauty With a Purpose Project: Young Minds Matter
● Story: Kanika developed an interest in modelling and pageantry from an early age. In 2023, she took a leap of faith by competing in Miss World Bangladesh, where she secured a place among the top finalists on her very first audition and went on to become the runner-up. In 2025, after Azra Mahmood acquired the Miss World Bangladesh license, Kanika was appointed as Miss World Bangladesh due to the national competition being postponed amid the country's political situation. Despite limited preparation time and visa challenges, she proudly represented Bangladesh at Miss World. The international experience inspired her to dedicate herself to social impact. Today, alongside pursuing modelling, Kanika works as a singer and host, while actively supporting initiatives focused on mental health, youth empowerment, and social awareness.
● Future Plans: Konika's Beauty With a Purpose project focused on mental health awareness. She is currently prioritizing her personal life while continuing to support this cause and plans to return to modelling in the future.
