In 2023, she took a leap of faith by competing in Miss World Bangladesh, where she secured a place among the top finalists during her very first audition and went on to become the runner-up. In 2025, after Azra Mahmood acquired the Miss World Bangladesh license, Aklima was appointed as Miss World Bangladesh due to the national competition being postponed amid the country's political situation. Despite limited preparation time and visa challenges, she proudly represented Bangladesh at Miss World 2025. This international experience inspired her to dedicate herself to social impact. Today, alongside pursuing modelling, Aklima works as a singer and host, while actively supporting initiatives focused on mental health, youth empowerment, and social awareness. With the upcoming Miss World Bangladesh 2026 on the horizon, Aklima remains engaged with the competition, excited to see the latest Miss World Bangladesh updates.
